This magnificent work of Georges Thevenet is found in the church of St. Francis of Assisi in La Nueva Barquita, La Javilla, Sdn. The artist created that bas-relief following the same philosophy as his art furniture brand 3R-Elementos.
The marquetry work is composed of “pieces” from the old wooden houses of the boat. I keep some inscriptions, doors, signatures as a unique souvenir of the old neighborhood on the banks of the Ozama River.
